Demo-Aufnahmen, zwischen Mai und August 1990 / Recording demos between May and August 1990

Zwischen Mai und August 1990 nahm die Band in der Besetzung Dominik Engel, Mike Schröder, Andreas Schulz, Peter Gündling im Lorscher Proberaum auf einem 4-Spur-Tape-Recorder einige Stücke auf, die (bis auf eines: Car Car) auf dem Demo „Cloud 9 & the Vitamin C“ (B-CNVC05) landeten.

Between May and August 1990, the band, consisting of Dominik Engel, Mike Schröder, Andreas Schulz and Peter Gündling, recorded several tracks on a 4-track tape recorder in the Lorsch rehearsal room, which (apart from one: Car Car) ended up on the demo "Cloud 9 & the Vitamin C" (B-CNVC05).

Vier dieser sechs Stücke landeten dann teils gekürzt (Black Queen und Rainfrontier) und allesamt remastered auf der 2023 erschienenen EP "RAINFRONTIER" (CNVC10); Black Queen zusätzlich auch auf der LP (CNVC11). Von diesem Demo-Tape dürften kaum mehr als 20 oder 30 im Umlauf sein.

Four of these six tracks were then partly shortened (Black Queen and Rainfrontier) and all were remastered and released on the EP "RAINFRONTIER" (CNVC10) in 2023; Black Queen was also included on the LP (CNVC11). There are probably no more than 20 or 30 of those demo tapes in circulation.

 

Car Car, Angel of Mine und auch Survivor sind bis heute nicht offiziell auf Vinyl erschienen.

14th Gig: Reinheim, JUZ - 1990-06-16

 Weiter mit der Chronologie der Bandauftritte.

Der zweite Auftritt in der neuen Besetzung mit dem neuen Gitarristen Andreas Schulz und Schlagzeuger Peter Gündling. Die Playlist orientierte sich stark an der bewährten vom Gig ca. drei Wochen davor in Bürstadt. Allerdings wurde Empty and Cold am Ende durch den Death Blues ersetzt und Survivor als Zugabe gespielt.

Rainfrontier, live in Reinheim

Von dem Auftritt gibt es einen Video-Mitschnitt, leider nur in mäßiger Qualität, bislang noch nicht digitalisiert. Hier fehlt leider die Zugabe.

Das Juz war eine recht kleine Örtlichkeit, in der die Lightshow sehr gut zur Geltung kam. Es war proppenvoll und die Stimmung war sehr gut.

We continue with the chronology of the band's appearances.

The second gig in the new line-up with newcomer guitarist Andreas Schulz and drummer Peter Gündling. The playlist was strongly orientated on the tried and tested one from the gig about three weeks before in Bürstadt. However, Empty and Cold was replaced by Death Blues at the end and Survivor was played as an encore.

There is a video recording of the gig, unfortunately only in mediocre quality and not yet digitised. Sadly the encore is missing.

The Juz was quite a small venue, in which the lightshow really came into its own. It was packed and the atmosphere was quite good.
