Zurück zur chronologischen Reihenfolge der Auftritte: Am 02.09.1988 hatten wir im Lorscher Straßenbaudepot unseren 8. Gig. Das Ganze war das zweite Festival an diesem Ort, diesmal unter dem Namen ROCK IM DEPOT. Mit dabei waren neben CNVC u. a. die Heppenheimer Bands Waste the Taste (ein sehr passender Name), A5 und Starfucker; Letztere eine Stones-Coverband und die „Stars“ des Abends – und mit Abstand die bekannteste Band in der Region.

Back to the chronological order of the gigs: On the 2nd of September 1988 we had our 8th gig at the Lorscher Straßenbaudepot. It was the second festival at this location, this time under the name ROCK IM DEPOT. Along with CNVC, the Heppenheimer bands Waste the Taste (a very fitting name), A5 and Starfucker were there (among others); the latter a Stones cover band and the "stars" of the evening - and by far the best-known band in the region.

Bin mir nicht hundertprozent sicher, ob diese drei Fotos tatsächlich von diesem Konzert stammen, glaube aber schon.

Not sure, if those three pictures really are from that concert, but I think so.

Kein schlechter Gig, und der vorletzte in der Originalbesetzung (allerdings ohne Björn, der ja nie so ein richtig vollwertiges Mitglied war) und mit Lightshow. Das Ganze wurde gefilmt und es gibt sowohl einen Audience- als auch einen Mischpult-Mitschnitt. Mehrere Presseleute waren vor Ort und äußerten sich vorwiegend positiv.
Jack o'Lantern wurde hier im neuen Arrangement dargeboten und I’m Lost (von Dominik geschrieben, stark inspiriert von dem gleichnamigen Sixties-Garagen-Song und wiederum mit starken Doors-Einfluss) wurde erstmals live gespielt.

Mal schauen, irgendwann, wenn ich mal vieeeel Zeit habe, werde ich hoffentlich dazu kommen, den Videomitschnitt zu digitalisieren …

Not a bad gig, and the penultimate one with the original line-up (but without Björn, who was never really a full member) and one more time with a lightshow. The whole thing was filmed and there is both an audience and a soundboard recording. Several members of the press were on site and their comments were mainly positive.
Jack o' Lantern was performed here in a new arrangement and I'm Lost (written by Dominik, strongly inspired by the Sixties garage song of the same name and again with a strong Doors influence) was played live for the first time.

Let's see, someday, when I have a lot of time, I will hopefully get around to digitalising the video recording ...
